Hi,

forwarding your message as it was filtered due to the big attachment. We
have a limit of 256KiB, IIRC.

To answer your question, yes it looks like your chip is supported. Make
sure it's well powered and wired correctly. If it's soldered to some
kind of motherboard, also see [1] and [2].

Also, a log can tell if the chip is responding anything at all. You can
generate one by adding `-o logfile.txt` to your flashrom command. Please
send a log if you keep having trouble.

I am trying to read the content of the flash 25Q128JVSQ using a C232HM USB
to mpsse 3.3v cable. I saw on the device list W25Q128.V is supported. Is
the chip I am trying to read supported? Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks!
